This collage is very beautiful. Seems the most natural thing to me.
Years ago, a dear friend's father died of a heart attack while on holiday. Inspired by the pictures taken of this man's repose, in time I photographed my father in his open coffin on the night we waked him at home. I have found it a helpful process, and have encouraged others to consider it.

Beautiful Charles. This is making a gradual comeback, we have had several funerals this year in which post mortem pictures have been taken.
